A  Playhouse 90 episode in 1958 cast Robert Ryan as Gatsby, Jeanne Craine as Daisy and Rod Taylor as Nick. Robert Redford starred as Gatsby in the 1974 production with Mia Farrow as Daisy and Sam Waterston as Nick. The Learning Channel featured Gatsby in a Great Books Episode in 1999 and A&E also brought Gatsby to television in 2000 with Toby Stephens in the Gatsby role, Mira Sorvino as Daisy, Paul Rudd as Nick A hip-hop rendition called "G" was produced in 2002 with Richard T. Jones playing the main character, G, and Chenoa Maxwell as Sky Hightower, the film's Daisy.
